The data presented here is gathered by regularly crawling the 'Contributing' pages of selected open-source projects. We measure the percentage of links that lead to a 'not found' error or are otherwise inaccessible. Additionally, for links that are working, we record their average response time to gauge performance. This metric provides an objective view of how well these important community-facing resources are maintained.
